Fred Wilbur fell in love with New Mexico after coming to Taos in the early 70s for archaeology field school. He has owned galleries in holography, art glass, and photography in Dallas, Santa Fe, Fort Worth, Atlanta, and southern Colorado. After retiring, he returned to New Mexico and has continued his lifelong hobby of taking primarily landscape and nature photographs. Some of his photographs are currently on display in the El Potrero Trading Post in Chimayo and Chimayo Rocks in Espanola.
